Medicinal Plants

These plants are used for medical and therapeutic purposes. They include various types of plants used in herbalism (herbology or herbal medicine). Medicinal plants are rich resources of ingredients used in drug development. Apart from medicinal uses herbs are also used in natural dye, pest control, food, perfume, tea etc. Common examples of medicinal plants are Aloe, Tulsi, Neem, turmeric and Ginger.
